Funding

ARF’N is a non-profit charitable organization. It relies on contributions from individuals and businesses, and foundation grants, for its financial support.

Donations of money and supplies are tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.

Foster homes and volunteer help

ARF’N is often in need of volunteers and foster homes for dogs and cats. We do not own a shelter building, so without these foster homes we could not save animals from County shelters. And our volunteers are critical to all the work we do.

What does ARF’N spend its money on?

ARF’N is run entirely by volunteers, and all administrative and transport costs are paid by willing volunteers. All donations (and a lot of our own funds!) go directly to the care and comfort of the dogs and cats we rescue, and to finding them good homes.
